How long does a golden fox hamster live?

The lifespan of Golden Hamsters is usually around two years and generally doesn't exceed three years.

Golden Hamsters are a hybrid of Silver Fox Hamsters and Pudding Hamsters. They have a relatively short lifespan mainly because hamsters are caged animals and live alone. They have a strong territorial awareness. If multiple hamsters are raised together, it's easy for them to fight and get injured. To extend the lifespan of Golden Hamsters, it's recommended to raise them separately and provide enough activity space and a suitable living environment.
