Is the white bear hamster good-tempered?

The temperaments of White Bear Hamsters vary from individual to individual. But generally speaking, they are relatively gentle and timid among hamster breeds. When White Bear Hamsters are faced with an unfamiliar environment or get frightened, they may show wariness out of fear and even bite people or exhibit other aggressive behaviors.

However, once they have established a close bond with their owners, they usually display a gentle nature and are happy to interact with their owners. Besides, White Bear Hamsters are quite independent. After adapting to a new environment, they can live independently and don't require too much attention from their owners.
